I recently took out a Vodacom contract for the G3 and wanted to replace the number with a number I had on pre-paid. Primary reason was to get away from CellC.
After much hair pulling and discussion with forum members / Vodashops, I was told this could not be done and I would have to ride the contract out with the assigned number. I was stumped.
I contacted VodacomData to see if it could be done - and viola. Sorted! R250 later and my contract number has been replaced with my pre-paid number and I am good to go. Activated this morning.
