Vodacom's network lie

Vodacom continues to promote the lie that it has the best network in South Africa despite official measures it previously used confirming MTN reigns supreme.

Why not fine them heavily like Nigeria did to mtn ?
How many people were misled?

Have you guys noticed, and it is probably the 10th time I have mentioned this
Vodacom on mybroadband and ookla have similar speeds
MTN however is almost doubled on mybroadband tests

You still dont feel a need to address this

Well I have an S22+ phone with "5g" and its a damn side slower than my S9edge+ phone with 4g (both Samsung)

4G = 102mb/s download
70mb/s upload
5G = 35mb/s download
10mb/s upload

Opposite for me, the mybroadband test was almost half the speed of the Ookla one on MTN.

Ditto! Non existent reception in load shedding. The worst is dealing with MTN at business level. They are the most arrogant bunch of people, as a supplier, I have ever dealt with. “You are so blessed to be dealing with us” seems to be the prevailing attitude where the Vodacom team I deal with are always eager to assist. The consumer votes with the wallet and does not care what the advertising says - you do business with companies and people where you get the service. Maybe MTN should try this some time and just FYI MBB, who cares about 5G when you are lucky if you can make and stay on a phone call during load shedding .

Vodacum are dropping too many calls lately - and calls that never come thru.

A fair number of those calls are from the security company ...
