I have a problem with Vodacom:

1. My phone stopped charging and it was overheating while frozen.
2. I sent it to Vodashop to have it looked at.
3. When it came back, the original RAM had been down-graded from 32 to 16GB and it could also not receive network signal.
4. I sent it back as advised by Vodacom.
5. It went for weeks and when it eventually came back, the box in which it left was not even opened meaning they never looked at it
6. Vodacom kept sending me bills for the service not rendered.
7. Right now they do not know where the phone is.

My resolution has been to cancel the contract but Vodacom is not coming clear about whether this is going to happen. How do I get help with this useless service provider.

Thanks

Thabani

Storm into the shop where you booked it in and don't leave until you get an answer. Threaten them with lawyers while you're at it and post on hello peter

I think you mean storage, not ram. Also storage doesnt just disappear unless some of the chips have failed (somehow).

Worked for me on multiple occasions:D.

Had a friend's BB 9300 go in and it was less than 6 months old. After a week I crapped on them and requested a replacement. The guy said he'd get back to me and the next day he phoned to say they have no stock of the 9300... A day or so after that I went to fetch a sealed 9320 :)
