Hi,
Long story short, i upgraded in Oct 2011 at the HydePark store, Vodacom now say that i upgraded in Oct 2012 and i have wait until 2014 to upgrade. They somehow incorrectly listed us for not paying the account apparently, anyway they sorted that out by crediting the account with just over R5000, that we apparently owed them.
I also paid the security deposit of R1180(still waiting for that money). Then i was asked to re-activate new sim cards at R110 each(2 contracts)
My issue is, how on earth can they say i upgraded in 2012, the statement clearly shows that jump in monthly subs from sep 2011 to oct 2011, and i took the samsung s2 & tab 10.1 special for R499 a month, that surely was not available in 2012.
Upgrades department acknowledge that they can see that the samsung s2 was used in 2011. but still i have to pay for another year to upgrade, which will effectively make this a 3 year contract.
No one can locate the upgrade documents, i assumed that the store would send it to vodacom HQ??
Has anyone ever has this issue before and what was done to resolve it
