Yes, it is, but since Huawei don't seem to have any downloads for the Vodafone-exclusive devices, you might have to resort to some trickery and use the Mobile Partner installer from one of the other new devices (e.g. E270, not E220).

Even simpler is just to install Mobile Partner on your PC, it is not necessary for the installer stored on the device's emulated CD-ROM to match what you have on your PC. For your sanity, and safety with all these USB flash drive trojans around, disable autorun, so that VMC doesn't try and install every time you plug in the device.

I've taken the leap and installed the MP util from Huawei for the E270 and it works like a charm. It seems according to what I read that Vodafone simply changed the look of the modem and added the external attena connector but the modem itself is the same.
