Vodafone K3565 Rev2 - Fast then Slow connection problem

Hi all!

I just bought a Vodafone K3565 Rev2 usb modem. Everything installed ok, jumped onto the net and started browsing. Page load times seemed to be a bit too long and response times from clicking on a link to actually receiving data can vary from 5 to 20 seconds. Now this is really starting to bug me as I was really looking forward to quick HSDPA.

What I can't seem to figure out is why initally speeds are great but then it just gets slower and slower and slower over a period of 15 mins or so. Also what I don't understand is why when I download a large 100Mb+ file (using a download manager) I download at average 3.2Mbit/s!!!!!!!!!!

I am using Win 7 x64 btw. Can some PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE help me with this!!!

PS i have latest VMC software and also the huawei USB hotfix....

PS my signal strength was indicated as "HSDPA Excellent" and switching between edge/3G preferred/only combinations made no difference to throughput speeds, i.e. it was constantly slow at 100-200kbps when browsing (when it worked).

Yeah, browsing seems to be a little unresponsive, on 7 too. I'm on 3.6Mbps, and with a manager my average is 200kB/s. It can get sheety and crawl though.
