Vodafone mobile connect card on Mandriva?

Hi

I am kind of a newbie with Linux. Where can i get the software to use my Vodafone mobile connect on Mandriva?

Anyone using their data card on Linux to surf?

Mandriva should auto-detect most broadband mobile devices. plug it in, and you should see a popup to set it up, or right click the network icon and there should be an option to connect to your provider.

Well, Mandriva does detect the device as well as the network. But then it asks to fill in username and password as well as other fields.
have u been through the process?
