Have an idea for enhancing this little app... might help identify the problems encountered with 3G! :)

Can one of the (now) empty status bar boxes be used to display the name of the connected tower?

Vodafone is very protective over the dashboard and all operators worldwide must agree as to what goes into the application.

I'll ask what they plan for cell-id's. I fully agree some sort of identification is needed.

The Celltrack app for the Symbian phones shows the tower id. It's not a name but some numerical code.

Another "change-request"... ;)

Can't the software keep track of where I want the window to be opened? Pain in the butt to have to constantly move the window to the upper right corner of the screen... and that I do, to enable me to constantly check the bps while browsing in FF, sitting on the left of the screen. And yes, they do fit next to each other, since I'm working on a nice resolution of 1920x1200! :D

Maybe try something like DUMeter to show upload and download speeds. You can make the window any size and position it anywhere. You can make it semi-transparent as well.
