Can someone assists me with the Vodafone Protect Safeguard your phone with our FREE security app

Its loaded on the phone and the person who's phone is can't remember the password but that is not the problem. When I click forgot password it needs to send a email to the email adress linked to the number, the adress is 100% correct but the mail never comes through.
I can't check if the internet settings is working cause this app keeps blocking me so I have no clue if the phone even has a data connection to send the mail
Is there anyway around it to get the password?
