Vodafone R205 - plug humming when charging?

no, is the wall plug making good contact. does it get very hot.
is it this very small charger, not transformer.
 
These are switch mode supplies and do tend to make a bit of noise. Unlike the old transformers where a well placed thump with a blunt object would silence the cores from buzzing with switch mode there isn't much you can do save replace the charger!

Chinese chargers tend to be "bare bones" internally whereas European chargers tend to be partly potted in resin and emit little or no noise at all...
 
Yes...my R205 charger does it also....and so does the charger that came with my sisters R201. I think these are chargers that have a higher maH or something..so they charge your battery quicker. The humming was driving me insane though so I got I bought another "normal" charger that runs silently.

Think the normal chargers are 750mA while the ones that comes with the Huawei routers are 1000mA.
 
What does it hum? :P

I thought only CellC chargers did that...Hummer Hummer, Cell C :)
