I have a client with a vodamail email address. They are using mweb as their ADSL service provider at their office.

Their outgoing email has been working for ages. In the last few days they get an error 550: server not on our network.

i am using smtp.vodamail.co.za port 25

I know that there must be some setting for vodamail to relay the email.

Vodacom cant help me .

Does anyone have the settings for this to work PLEASE!!

I have authentication for the smtp server...same error.

Please help!

nothing to do with Vodacom you cant relay vodamil over adsl vice versa

use relay.mweb.co.za

I also all of a sudden have the same problem, and the relay.mweb.co.za definitely Not helping -

smtp.vodacom.co.za has worked for me for more than 3 years now, over MWEB ADSL, and Vodacom 3G and other WiFi connections that has nothing to do with either MWEB or Vodacom (Depening on the connections i needed to turn outgoing authentication on or off, but this was a minor issue - i could still send emails)

Now, my emails just sit in the outbox, and "test account settings" results in the same error 550: server not on our network.

Help please!

Would suggest maybe changing your smtp settings to Mweb's with authentication enabled.
