3 phones so far that are unable to make calls, all on separate contracts and one at a another location.
Anyone else have issues making calls?

I have issues, and so do some others on Facebook. My tablet with data-sim also giving me connection issues. I got hold of Vidacom CC and the agent said they were receiving calls regarding connectivity issues I'm in Edenvale.

Yes my side too. Seems like whole Eastrand area Vodacom network is down from 7 o clock. Pathetic service.

Almost destroyed my s4 out of frustration. I first thought it was my note2,then had the same issues on my s4 so I got a now sim. Issues seemed to go away for 2 or so months until now. Restart didn't restore connection.

Issues seemed to come and go but were always just on my device. Now I know though, can't wait for my contract to run out next month...

LOl same story with me, i thought one of Samsung account issues, after spending 2 hours on Google, found out freaking VodaSh**t messed up again. Lucky you, Next month you getting out of this useless network, i have to wait another 8 months. Cell C have a best network coverage in my area. 8 more months :(

*** thing is, try Google'ing what is happening and all results pretty much point to grey import phones with dodgy unlocks or software updates that have stripped the IMEI number from the phone.

I suggest logging a ticket so that we can get some numbers behind this.

Ah, what this translates to is either BS or an admission that the Vodacon network is so unstable that it can't resolve these issues seamlessly...

My money is on BS as the amount of handsets (grey or otherwise) with stripped IMEI as a blank IMEI should be refused by any GSM/UMTS system.

In the majority of handsets, the IMEI is to be found in OTP memory and can't be stripped or altered...
