Well i don't know about the rest of you. But hell im starting to dislike the sales driving vodashops and there lack of service they provided to my clients that are on there knees asking to pay through the roof for data cards.
Example:-
You give them a referral and it takes two days for the "customer relations manager" to actually make any kind of effort to contact the client. This after you get your op manager to follow up and push the girl to make contact.
The sole reason that you are suggesting telkom, i mean vodacom, is due to the coverage factor and the faith the client has in the brand. So today i do a follow up with the young lady in question and her reply is. "seen him on monday. good bye". Seriously. Great way to encourage the IT sector to promote your product, i make money off iBurst not 3g, why must my company continue to support vodacom's broadband solution? I believe that an increased level of service over your competitors is a sure fire way to generate new business.
I will never recommend that you even think of using vodashop, there "IT Specialist" is under the belief that 3g and exchange server don't work together. Well light bulb they do! But what do we IT managers know? You clearly know more than me as you work on these servers everyday...
Is Vodacom taking hints from telkom, hell i hope not. But they need to get there staff to wake up and get service driven cause thats what we as a consumer want is delivery with a dash of speed and a smile.
Wake up!
