Vodfone SAT NAV not working since "upgrade"

Logged it on Saturday and no solutions to date

Exactly how hard is it for them to fix this? Thankfully I did not need Sat Nav this weekend, but some days you rely on it completely to get you where you need to be.

This is very sloppy from VC IMHO. This is surely an hour to half-a-day's fix, not a four day and counting one.

I downloaded nav4all.com in the interim, not gr8, but not bad.

SATNAV cam back late this afternoon
Google MAPS looks like it is back but due to bad speeds it is difficult to say

I am back up again!!!!!. Just started working again, never resent service books.

It says my account not accessible via HTM browser and I must use my phone? Will try that and see if it works. Will post here the result. Thanks w1twOlf

Everything is dead today – no mail, bb messenger, internet, vigo, maps etc.
Phoned 155
Support Guy – we know about the problem – we can try a few things
Me - Sorry already tried all of them – pull battery, registered host routing tables, send service books.
Support guy started laughing.
Support Guy – It something to do with the BIS server and it is not hosted in the country.
Me - But why is MTN’s working, maybe you should get a few MTN Engineers to help you or even better I must move to MTN.
Support Guy – Sir please stick with us we are resolving the issue
WHAT EVER!!!!
Wonder what Vodacoms take is on warranty issues regarding pulling the batteries etc. I am sure the BB is not design to open the cover everyday

There is a free app that simulates the battery pull - it's called QuickPull. It was a free download when I got it a few months ago.

Yep I am also using it - the standard user will have no idea about the app
