Voice Chat

Hi guys just got adsl. with a telkom Router, however iv tryed useing voice chat over the net with my unkle, the webcam works ok, but we just cant seem to get any sound, iv read over the net it has something to do with router settings, Has anyone experience these problems, Or does anyone know what i need to do to fix them.

Off topic, but just watch that cap of yours.. Webcam's etc, chow loads of bandwidth!

Hi

The problem might be one of a multitude of things:

Mic volume
Router settings
Sound card settings etc.

Can you record the mic on the pc itself using Sound Recorder?

Is it muted or perhaps not setup yet? What proggy are you using for this voice and cam adventure...?
