Who had the experience with Vodacom cancel their Voice mail without notifying them? They say it was done because it was inactive. Mine was suddenly cancelled and I had to reactivate it. I lost quite a few important messages while I was away and my phone off. I noticed it was strange when I put my phone at night I did not get any messages. If it is Vodacom's standard practice which cellphone provider can I use which do not do such stupid things to their customers?

Sounds like your line is a prepaid one. There are some restrictions to prepaid voicemail boxes,your problem could be one of them.

Pretty sure mine was cancelled as I've missed plenty of calls, my number just doesn't go to voice mail. I'm leaving them end of the month anyway

That is nothing to do with prepaid. Vodacom is just useless. It worked for one day and then it is off and I can't even get it activated again. Vodacom thinks because they are the strongest they can just do what they want.
