9 Telecom, the fixed network services brand of LDcom, an alternative provider of telecommunications in France, plans to launch its Tout 9 appliance on 15 October 2003, giving customers access to ADSL telephony for EUR 27 per month. Local and long-distance calls between subscribers are free and cost EUR 0.01 per minute when made to customers of other operators. LDCom will then offer a bundled service, including 1,024 kbits/sec Internet access for EUR 40 per month. LDCom aims to have 500,000 DSL subscribers at end-2004 and 100,000 at end-2003.
