Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but i glimpsed an add 4 carte blanche with the sound off, lol.
Saw Voip, so looks like its on the agenda tonight.

I wish I had Mnet / DSTV - will anyone be able to record it and post it on the web for us to download? I know it will take a age - but it would be worth it!

It was an interesting segment, although one thing I must comment on, IS seemed happy that companies will not be allowed to build their own infrastructure, could this be because they already have a large amount of their own?

If I recall one of their press releases when the deregulation was announced they were agaisnt self provisioning. I suppose all companies want to protect their profits. :(

I didn't realise Ant [Brooks] was going to be interviewed by CB, but I now see that he really does have blue hair :D

rofl, yeah indeed I was also surprised

Aai man.. I completely forgot about it, woulda gone down to the pub and watched it.. someone must have recorded it..? Doesn't MNET have offices down here or is everything up 'there' in JHB? Need a copy, always good for a download these kind of things..

I feel they could of put more enphasis on the very high cost of brandband in SA. In order to make VOIP work effeciently, you need broadband. Dialup just does not cut it. I feel that the media are doing too little to highlight these problems to the man in the street and how the man in the street would benefit from lower cost, more affordable broadband services.

I recorded it and will convert later this avie as soon as I get home at around 16h00.

Haven't checked the vid machine for quality yet, but if it came through okay, I will have it online tonight at the latest.

Cheers
Ant

I thought the section on the clinic was particularly poignant ... Telkom should hang their heads in shame.

Overall a very good program although I think they painted things as being rather more rosy than they actually are atm. Telkom came out clearly as the Great Satan though which was a consolation.

LOL @ ant's hair.
