VOIP: Routers and Gateways

hi i am rather new to the VOIP market and are currently looking into getting a router/gateway to run my VOIP service on. What routers/gateways will be good options for the South African market.

How are the other types of routers priced?

I stick with my fritzbox from AVM ..since 2 years in SA ..and 4years in germany.. see www.avm.de/en easy to set up too..and a fallback to landline if voip is not avaliable
