VoIS 'better and cheaper than Skype'

Skype charges €0.055 (approx. R0.68 excl. VAT) to call an SA fixed line destination

Since when do you pay VAT on Skype calls?

And who uses Skype to call local phones? They need to give us a comparison for international calls, where Skype is generally about $0.02 a minute for most of the developed world destinations.

It's nice to compare against calling within SA, but how do they compare with Skype calling overseas? The Skype client is also free.
How do they compare with Vox, and other local VoIP providers?

With Skype, users have to pre-pay for airtime with their own credit card online, and then submit expense claims for their usage a month later, and probably only receive their reimbursement a month after that. Skype's fixed monthly subscription service is not available in South Africa.
Not true!

VoIS Anywhere is significantly cheaper than Skype. Skype charges €0.055 (approx. R0.68 excl. VAT) to call an SA fixed line destination, whereas the VoIS Anywhere rates range from approximately R0.35 to R0.55, depending on the destination called," says Hatfield.

I can vouch for the quality thou. My previous company we tested VoIS and it worked pretty good.

skype 400 is inbound to SA destinations and is a monthly subscription service.
