Anyone else notice that Cell C quietly activated VoLTE - noticed this afternoon that it stays on LTE when making a call - using iPhone with Wifi Calling activated on my esim

If you reboot does WiFi calling move itself to mobile network preferred like Vodacom or does it stay on WiFi preferred after reboots like MTN?
Stays on wifi-preferred after a reboot.
With the future 2G & 3G switch off, all providers will be forced to enable VoLTE going forward.
However, support for VoLTE and VoWiFi seems pretty patchy from device to device. Telkom VoWifi used to work on contract, but completely stopped working when switched over to Prepaid.
Then you have no VoLTE & VoWiFi with MVNOs such as AirMobile

yeah, I've given up with Telkom. Call centre staff are technically inclined brain dead. As they have absolutely no idea what you're talking about if you mention VoWiFi.
Was also told by staff at Telkom store "Oh I mean WhatsApp calling"
But these things are basic to be honest because most people have 4g phones but then most south Africans the only thing they know is a great camera other that they are in Awe if you do something different in a phone that is usually done on a PC. CV wow how did you do that. Ms word wow how did you do that. Excel wow how did you do that. Even IT studentsyeah, I've given up with Telkom. Call centre staff are technically inclined brain dead.
