Vomiting and stomach bug today ... is anyone else suffering?

I am in far east on assignment and this bug got me yesterday.
First time in years that I puked.
I left work early yesterday and would not have come to work today had it not been that we have a few critical activities on the go.
I took some tabs and it seems to be helping - cant read the pack, so trusted the locals best judgement.
Feels like I should be over it by the end of today - thank goodness only two days of this cr@p.

thanks for sharing guys. it really is a terrible experience. i've come out ok but very fragile this morning, after taking imodium and kem-o-dene. unbelievable what your body can get up to sometimes

Work in a pharmacy and the bug is seriously in the air now. Go to pharmacy get some immodium, scopex and valoid...

immodium to bind stomach
scopex is for cramps
valoid for vomiting. although it is easier to use a suppository. Have you ever tried drinking medicines when you are vomting? It just comes right back out.

my gf had it as well, buscopan,immodium and valoid was prescribed...all helped
oh the doc also gave her some anit-biotics as well....

this is seriously spreading fast...

so far i was lucky not to get it...

hi guys, gross topic i know, but it's even worse if you're the one with these symptoms. does anyone else know of anyone vomiting and running to the toilet right now? is it a summer stomach bug or something? if so, what are you/they treating it with? i'd feel a lot better if i know that i wasn't alone with these crazy symptoms. i haven't vomited in like 10 years ... and now this

I know this might be utterly disgusting and humanly impossible. But the best cure I "found" for the gogga in your stomach is as follows:

Mix 4 drops of good old DETTOL (yes the antiseptic) in a half glass of milk.
Drink it and in a few hours you feel much better. The DETTOL kills all the nasty stuff in your stomach and the milk acts as a "filler".

I got this advice from an actual doctor when I was sh1tting my brains out for 3 days and nothing wanted to work when we went hunting in the Karoo.

Impossible !
I left SA mid January for the UK, and from there I travelled to the far east on the 20th of this month.

You know what's stressing me out, it's the risk of having an "accident" in bed.

um YOU can't drink DETOL ??
Can any confirm this before I kill my self with detol because I have the bug I think but no vomiting hmmm.

I woke up this morning the cramps were so bad felt like knifes cutting my insides then ran to the loo and WHAHAHA I'm gonna say this for the fun of liquid sh*t bonanza!
