Every day or two there seems to be a problem with Vox on the Fibrehoods network.
We use this connection for all our work needs so when the network goes down for a few hours like it did again today it starts getting pretty irritating. There are points where I would take the 1mb/s iburst we were using over this 100mb/s Vox/fibrehoods fibre because at least it worked consistently.
Last year and early this year everything worked and we had maybe 2 hours downtime in that period but now its downtime for random periods of time between 2-8 times a week.
These are not faults on our fibre these are messages you get on your phone saying "Vox engineers are attending..No ETTR can be confirmed at present. Further feedback to follow", next message "services have been restored". They just tell you its down and bang no connection.
Sorry a slight rant, back to business
Is this a Fibrehoods problem or a Vox/Fibrehoods problem?
Are other ISP's experiencing the same problems?
Is it worth going to another ISP to avoid these problems?
Any input would be great
