So timeline...

Avoid this company like the plague...

Thursday last week
1. Vuma phones me as a curtsey to tell me vox has ordered a new circuit on my existing 1gb line. I inform them I have no placed a new order. Go told there is nothing they can do I have to talk to vox

2. I call vox and they deny they have done anything. Agent says there is something from the pmo office, but she can't see what.

3. I ask for someone to call me back with proper feedback.

4. 1gb ftth goes down

Friday
1. Line back up . 10mbit download speed on a 1gb line

2. Argue with vox again. No feedback. No callback with more info

3. Mails received from vuma congratulationing me on my new line and saying activation cancelled. I never ordered a new line.

4. Further frustrating calls with vox

5. Calls from vuma wanting a site visit. I'm not home. Total waste of My time.

Saturday
1. More harassment calls from vuma wrt my new line

2. Cancelled my 1gb line. I don't want anymore to do with this **** company.

3. Still no call from vox pmo team to explain why all this **** started.

Sunday
1. Line speed back to normal

Monday
1. more harassment from vuma wrt my new line
2. Vox sales call wrt my cancellation wanting to cancell everything including a lte service I had taken out recently
3. Still no feedback from pmo office on why this saga started.

This sounds like a premise miss creation from Vumatel. Basically a cleanup procedure they go through where your location might not correspond to their database.

So they need to move it.

Or its a similar issue with Vox.

I was with you when you uttered the name "vumatel"Not defending Vox but I'm like 60% sure it's vumatels fault

EDIT : Last 2 days I have had multiple phone calls from VUMA about my new line Install :/
Getting to be past irritated

VOX acting dumb

Fiber down again

Quite a ride, really unusual, almost as if someone made a Vuma order and they used your premise id in error but such an order typically wouldn't have gone through with your existing 1Gbps line still active there.

Well vuma are saying they received a cancellation from vox ( on the 10th ) , hence why I got a courtesy call ....
Im so over this BS atm
VOX has lost me as a client, but I still want the 1gb back and functioning till 1 June.
When I am good and ready I will move my other services from them as well and start with my related family accounts as well

WHen I last upgraded from different FNO's I also had a ton of crap with VOX. Eventually got their CEO on linkedin and complained direct.

VOX seems to have serious issues with their admin and support

Edit : Wednesday Update

Had some spare time. VUMA install guy arrived to install my new line ( that I never asked for )
Gave him the whole story again. He went away
Line went dead , back again
He says according to their records I am plugged into the incorrect ports
Will see ....
Still need an explanation of how/ why this has happened
Again at the time when i have meetings and kids have online tutorials going. So can only swop back later to the fiber and see how things are

We rented a place that had fibre with Vox. Was arguably the worst ISP we ever had to deal with.

Last time I tried to get hold of any human at Vumatel, I failed. This was about 4 years ago.

Seems like you can only speak to them on their terms.
 really sorry about that... I can't promise they don't have a soft spot for us but personally I've had a great experience with them here I wont lie, from sales all the way through dealing with faults, I confidently recommend them as a FNO.
