I'm on a 200/200 Mbps Vox account using Vumatel fibre in Cape Town. Having download speed and latency issues during peak times. Anyone else experiencing the same or is just me?

I just had the same issue im also with Vox - Ask Vox to get the line provider to upgrade the firmware on your ONT device - they can do this remotely

This solved my issue, Hopefully will work for you :)

Hmm, I'm also going for this when my fibre is installed.

Gambit, please let me know if you come right.

When I torrent, it gets slow during peek hours, even for torrents that always get full speed like the torrent to download Ubuntu. Go through VPN I setup on a host1plus vps, getting full speed again.

I'm on ADSL, my router is syncing at 13mbps but I only get 4.7mbps download speeds. This is for the last 3 weeks now. Telkom tested the line and all is fine. SNR and attenuation is also spot on. Vox data account.

This thread is in the Fibre sub section, so probably not related to your issues.

I realize that , just saying that I am also experiencing issues with VOX.
