Just as a comparison... what would a 200gb capped package on a 10 or 20Mbps cost....(this is what I plan to move to) I get the price for data only and line... do u not offer a package?

I know there are bundles/packages but I'm unaware of their costs. Best to contact sales about this to get the exact figures. The Fatpipe 200GB is found here: https://www.voxtelecom.co.za/fatpipe

OP.. go for a capped account , you won't regret it.

All ISP's have fup. Max I have used was around 200 gb in a month.... was never throttled on either Telkom or Afrihost.

Neither of them have a hard and fast rule or actually tell you at what usage you will be to limited (i have asked) and keep the option for peak demand I think.

Guess that is why I did not bother to check when I moved to vox... I took it for granted that it would be them same... who would have expected only 60gb.... guess its my fault

Chris is leaving at the end of the month which is why his "official" designation has been removed.

He has been absolutely amazing here on the forum.

We're hoping very hard that he's replacement here will be even half as helpful.

I haven't looked at the times which you are consuming bandwidth, but it might be worth having a look at a mixture of accounts to provide you a rounded solution. If your family is consuming bandwidth after 6pm weekdays and all day on the weekend have a look at the Fatpipe Lite + Bolt On (uncapped, limited to 10Mbps during bolt on time (M-F 6pm-6am, Sat/Sun all day) product here:

But this awesome product (bolt on) is being discontinued at the end of the month. If you buy it before the end of the month you will retain it thereafter.

Last week I asked sales to add the bolt-on to my Fatpipe Lite account from the 1st of December. They have confirmed this is possible but just to clarify, will it be added on the first as I'm now reading that it shall be discontinued.

Inbox me your account number or dsl username, I'll have a look. Our systems do have scheduling systems to install/uninstall, i'll make sure its in place.

60GB is pretty low. The low data allowances on their uncapped accounts was why I went for a capped Fatpipe option.
