Mikrotik hapac2 does not have the greatest wifi. As a router it's fantastic, more so if you know mikrotik, but it's wifi is terrible. This sounds like a WiFi problem. What I would do, is get something like a cudy x6, put it in ap mode (not router). Then phone vox and ask them to turn off the wifi on the mikrotik

So just spoke to technical support, the answer is 'that is not how it works' and got a bit irritated with me... very poor service from Vox.

Just to close the loop, seems someone with some sense eventually saw the light and got things going to switch me over to Frogfoot. It has been over a week now without connectivity, but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel...
