VOX upgrades not so FREE

I am on the 300gig deal at R485p/m.

They upgraded it to the 400gig package for "free", and then I got this little shocker this morning.

Dear Customer
It is very important to us that we can surprise and delight you...

We have enhanced your Fat Pipe service by giving you MORE data at no extra charge!
Your new data allocation is 400GB at R925.00 per month.

And that's not all... We are giving you FREE data between midnight and 6 a.m.

Not so free after all.
 
I think you are misunderstanding, the way I see it, you package cost R458, and they are giving you the package that is worth R925 as far as I undersand all the announcements you will not be charged, but I think there will be an official word soon...
 
It is very confusing lets hope Vox clarifies this.
The graphic at the top says more data at the same price.
 
I usually pay R169 for 100gb

According to this email....

MORE data at no extra charge!
Your new data allocation is 150GB at R328.00 per month.

.....what the hell !!!

Nope, it's not even vaguely worded. The new package is 400gb at R925. A new package on the website is even only R899.
 
Atleast I am not the only one then.

I just got this e-mail and came here to ask what the hell? I am going to be very disappointed if the price suddenly changed like this...
 
I just checked the next months bill on the vox customer panel and the price is unchanged!
Just poor communication skills.
 
I'm surprised people can't use common logic to figure this all out.
It's clearly a basic error and nothing to freak out about.
 
I just phoned them and they confirmed that the e-mail was incorrect, and they will be sending out a new e-mail very soon.
 
They responded now, and it was in error. Extra data at no additional cost.

But after the recent mishaps in billing issues from big companies, this was a bit concerning.
 
This company needs to learn how to communicate.

I wonder if English is a prerequisite when applying for a position there.

These comments are actually not necessary.
I have had excellent dealings with VOX and never had a problem with their communication.
Mistakes happen.
 
When your line supports 2 or more concurrent streams in HD, bandwidth needs get much bigger. I don't think many leechers will use capped services anyway. Cost per gig is rather pricey compared to uncapped.
 
My bill also have remained unchanged, might be a mistake or misunderstanding. i just checked my next invoice and the data increased but the rand value remained unchanged.
