Vox dealers (and the whole reseller model) are pathetic.

Vox dealers have sourced by whatever means, (allegedly it involves a bit of bribery and corruption) the data base of Telkom ADSL clients, together with peoples e-mail addresses and physical address (scary) and starting to spam their offers.

It cheap, its dirty and its a disgrace.

Vox will evidently make anyone a dealer, who think they can behave in any way they want.

This is what came in this morning:

Good day, (*really)

Do you have a Telkom ADSL line and would like to save on your bill, then this mail is for you. (*piss off)

How do you save? Connect to Vox and use your internet connection to make normal telephone calls (VoIP).

What do you save?.........................bleaa de blaaa fish paste.

She even gives her name and cell number, ?? go figure. Then her homepage link goes back to the Vox website. Im so glad I got the direct cell number of this twit, Im need to test some new bulk SMS gateway software, so Ill allocate a few thousand to that number, over the next week !!!! Thank you :)
Lets see how you like it.

The picture I have in my mind of this person:
Bored housewife "come Vox kingpin dealer wannabee". Cant find casual "outside of marriage" sex partner, runs a day care in the lounge and spams for a bit of potential "vox voip reseller business" in the morning. Get a life, get a job.

Advice: Vox for your own image, please screen and then contain the your mass market home dealers please.

Pathetic.

VOX is not seen as a pyramid scheme, since their whole dealer network is built on the Avroy Shlain multi level marketing. (Admitted personally by a VOX Dealer Manager) Also mentioned was the poor level of training in the upward and downward support structure.
My question is: How is it possibble for a company such as VOX to allow spamming. Surely they or their subsidiary Datapro belong and adhere to the ISPA code of conduct.

If you feel that Vox are spamming you then you must lodge a complaint with ISPA as it violates their code of conduct. ISPA is very serious about spam and they won't let Vox/Datapro get off lightly.
