I thought these guys were decent? I've had very little flawless workings with them.

I'm not saying they're always bad, but I'm only home 2 or so times a week, and I'll have issues.

Right now I'm on hsdpa to post this - as my 20mbps line is running at 2000ms (Local) and 0.92mbps down / 0.05mbps up. Too slow for anything.

Last night though at 20.00 I downloaded iTunes on my one PC - 1.5MBb/sec and 2 minutes. On the other an hour later 20kb/sec and many hours...

Highly eratic

Anyone else having issues when using the itunes app on VOX, i am unable to do upgrades, browsing etc. Just sort of hangs. this started a week or so ago, when i change to 3g the app store works. tested this on two iphones already.

I logged a call yesterday, waiting for feedback.

I downloaded a 120MB file and i took forever as well last night

Something def wrong on their side.

The biggest problems I've got with them is to open South African sites like MyBB and carbonate etc. Slow download speeds till around 01.00 and then line speed. Which I think must be severe shaping and my other ISP accounts works fine. Do a speed test and get 3.45mb switch to cybersmart then its 8.89. And afrihost and axxess more or less the same. Vox support say on their side everythings fine. Starting to sound a lot like some other isp's like opensharedweb etc.

I wonder if this is again like the Cape Town IPC needing a upgrade but Johannesburg being fine, because I have not experienced any of these issues with Vox, Netflix is fine, Battlefield is fine, HTTP doing line speed as I type this and my last five NNTP downloads I just checked had a average of 1MB/s.
