VOXX Telecom Disappointment

I've been a long time user of ADSL and started with a 1MB line ages ago. I initially used Afrihost but found their throttling policies absolutely horrifying. So once I got to a 10MB line I switched to VOXX. I took an uncapped package and was very satisfied. I then moved up to a 20MB line and took VOXX along with me. Once I was informed by Telkom 40MB would soon be available I queried with VOXX about their 40MB option and was informed that as soon as I was on a 40MB line they would move me over to 40MB uncapped. It took roughly 3 weeks to get a 40MB line and when I called VOXX I was really shocked to hear that they had pulled their 40MB and no longer offered it. I sent several mails, spoke to half a dozen people etc etc only to be told I couldn't get a 40MB data package. Truly disappointing service and I am now sitting with a 40MB Telkom VDSL line with 20MB speeds. I don't know who to switch to because VOXX has outstanding service and speed stability.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
 
Why not try one of their capped products?

I can recommend Afrihost capped or their business uncapped. I am on the 100 + 100 GB capped package for R199 pm. I can't comment on their other uncapped products as I've never used them. Their new network has been very good for me.

Also based on what others are saying, you might want to take a look at Crystalweb, possibly try the live chat on their website.

Those are the only two ISP's that I would recommend at the moment. Edit: Can also recommend Axxess (owned by Afrihost)

Fingerprintz u just saved me although in a weird way lol. I was about to sign on with Axxess and the saw your message saying they are owned by Afrihost. For uncapped Afrihost is great but for uncalled they throttle u ridiculously and for weeks at a time. It's absolutely insane. So now knowing Axxess is owned by Rians Afrihost hmmmm not thanks lol. For a company that truly does not throttle you unnecessarily I rate VOXX the best ISP in SA and their support is 24/7 which is amazing. I think I'm going to hold off a little until Fibre hits my area (about a month or so) and then continue with VOXX Fibre. Thanks for your recommendations though.
 
Axxess business account works REALLY well on my 40Mb VDSL - no issue. Tried both Mweb and MTN business previously who were both hopeless.

That said an Axxess home uncapped is horrible - moved to Openweb there.
