Hi all
Hope someone can help with configuration.
Used to have ISDN dailing office to collect work mail with Secure Remote software "CheckPoint" VPN, no problem.
I've now have ADSL at home, with Microcom Router Model DeskPorte 100, with VPN support.
Secure Remote VPN authinticates me, but cannot access work mail.

Look forward to any help
Thanks

you will have this problem as many routers do not allow AH/ESP/GRE protocols set it up in pppoe mode and try it should work ... the other possibility is set the MTU correctly ...

the VPN support may be the problem ... make sure it allows vpn throug connectuions ..

authentication takes place with "normal" traffic so this seems to be your problem ...

Loosecannon you seem to know VPN's

A friend of mine has a similar problem, Why o for godsake why does VPN software report that it is connected, when in fact not ?

How can you debug connections inside the VPN if you are not even sure of the VPN itself ?

it is all a mystery young jedi ... it repoorts the authentication thats all not the active state ... it is a pain to debug so once working leave it the hell alone :)

the only reason i know a bit about them is from learning the hard way ...

Hi Guys, still have problem, authenticates....but no connection to office server/mail, checked all you've suggested, any suggestions where i can get futher help, other than dailing in via tel line
