Hi there,

I would just like to know how to successfuly setup a VPN connection beween Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP Pro.

My setup are like this:
OFFICE:
-> Server (Windows Server 2003)
-> DLink DSL G604T ADSL / WiFi Router

HOME:
-> Workstation (Windows XP Pro SP2)
-> DLink DSL G604T ADSL / WiFi Router

NOTEBOOK:
-> Dell Notebook (Windows XP Pro SP2)
-> 3G HSDPA Internet Connection

What I have done:

I have setup Incoming connections on my server for incoming VPN connections. I also forwarded the VPN ports on both the routers (PPTP etc.).

With my laptop's 3G connection, I can connect in the VPN, and access the PC which I've routed for VPN access, BUT with my Home PC with ADSL, I can connect in the VPN, but when trying to Access the specified remote PC (Start > RUN > \\192.168.10.100 (which is the IP of the specified remote PC), it won't access it.

With my 3G connection, everything works 100%, but between the 2 ADSL conenctions, I struggle to access the Office PC.

As the 3G connection is working 100%, I assume that my Office PC's ADSL router is setup correctly, but my Home PC's ADSL router is setup EXACTLY like the office PC.

Can someone please help me with this issue, PLZ!!!

Thanx

I Dunno hey but dont you just had problems like that? you go over and over all the settings, you keep checking everything, you KNOW it MUST work, but it just wont. sometimes i think i should've become a doctor or something

It sounds like a policy issue or how many licenses do you have for terminal services? It should come with five licenses, if not all used up you need to maybe look at how your PC.
