I have a contractor that lives in Vredefort, he commutes to Parys to get a decent signal so that he can vpn into my office to do coding on our system.
Up until end march or just before the april holidays no problem. Since the holidays began it is a nightmare to get him connected to our network in Paarl.
We have checked everythign and re-installed and configured all tha we can
We ran a tracert from his laptop and found that regulary the connection would break down at a point in Prieska (according to Telkom)
vodacom forced him to take a vodacom contract saying that he cell c service proder is the problem (yet they use the same vodacom network) after going ove rto them it worked for one day and hello same problem again
anyone experience the same thing have a clue or a hint how to get this fixed know of soemone we could contact tha can help
Problem is if thius guy does not work my project stands still and my client and the wine industry suffer immensely
