VPN connection on MTN 3G

Need help!!!!

Do anybody have problems connecting to your VPN through a MTN 3G connection:confused:

Are you trying to setup a VPN server using the MTN connection or are you trying to connect to a vpn server??
 
My problem is some of the clients connect to a VPN server with vodacom or MTN 3G but we are expeirancing problems with MTN vodacom are fine
 
Hell YES. I can't establish my VPN connection to JHB (from CT) using MTN. Vodacom seems to work fine. All of our support staff have the same problem and the guys in our JHB office tell me that it's a known issue. I just wish I'd known THAT before I'd signed a bleeding 24 month contract specifically to use the VPN connection to support my software!!!:mad:

Oh yes ... My APN is myMTN
 
We have the same problem with MTN, clients use MTN 3G cards to VPN into Verizon, about 9 out of 10 times it does not work, it works 10 out of 10 times if using a Vodacom 3G connection. The funny part about MTN and Verizon is that they are the same now after MTN bought Verizon... We have had this problem for months now, had MTN and Verizon involved and they just cannot find the problem, DONT USE MTN.
 
You need to switch over to the mtnvpn APN. Phone 808, ask them to activate it and 24 hours later you should be sorted.
