Hi Everyone,

can any one help me with the following.

I need to setup a vpn for 10 clients.
they have got adsl and 64k diginet line.
I am going to use 3g for their laptops, but i need to setup the vpn so they can connect to the office network where ever they are.

Any suggestions would be welcome......

V3G can you perhaps help me out here?

Thanks

You can also send me an e-mail if need be.

PS: I WANT TO USE VODACOM 3G - BEST COVERAGE.

CPT - what OS's are you running on the server and client ends?

If it's something like w2k or w2003 on the server end just setup the VPN under routing and remote access. I can post the link for you to use.
With any windows client you have the VPN client native to the OS. If you need assistance there just give a shout.

There are quite a few ways of doing this. The right way would be to sit down with you and design a system taking some factors into consideration such as:

1) In which direction will most data flow? Will the 10 guys be uploading or downloading?
2) Do you want to give them internet access? If so how, via the office connection or the 3G connection?
3) Do you want to limit their data usage? I.e. no nasty 30Gb bills at the end of the month!
4) How secure must this system be?
5) Would they like to 'see' each other?

etc.

One can design really cool systems for these kind of applications. I'd suggest you PM me your contact details and area (sounds like Cape Town!) and I'll get one of the corporate solution guys to contact you. They've got specific products for your requirement.
