Scenario: 2 sites connected via ADSL (or whatever broadband) and DynDNS. On the one network, there's a device with a webinterface, that you can access from any PC on that network via IP address. What would you need to access that device from the other site (network)?

Thanks.

It all depends on what type of access
most routers block access to the device from the out side which can easly be change but i would not suggest it try load a vpn server inside
change the router to allow vpn connection to that server using dns name
the just vpn in and it will be as if you are from the local network that is how i do it

that's by far the easiest... DynDNS with VPN or if you're lucky enough to have uncapped static IP's and CISCO routers make this a breeze!
