Hi,

I need some advice.

I have a TP Link EX511 router that just brings in the fibre to the home.

The Network and wifi setup is as follow.
TP link mesh that supports the entire house with wifi.
This includes the laptops, tv's and consoles.

There is also a TPlink TLSG1016D switch that is used for some devices that works better with a lan cable instead of a wifi connection

What I am looking for is a VPN that I can change my region on certain devices, example PS5 and tv for streaming
Is this an easy setup to accomplish or will there be a lot of third party installations to be done for the setup.
I just dont want to log in to the router everytime to change a Ip address for different regions.

Thank you in advance

Looks like that router does have the ability to set up a VPN client and assign specific devices to use that connection: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3772/

You just need to subscribe to your preferred VPN service, get the configuration and follow the "Configure WireGuard VPN Client on Your TP-Link Router" steps in the article above.

I think you're stuck with the router route in this case. AFAIK there is no way to get VPN client on PS. You could install the client on a smart tv though.

Only if you do it through the router, like in the instructions I pasted above.

I'm not entirely sure of the side-effects of changing regions on a console though, doing this frequently is probably not a good idea.
