Hi,

I have gotten L2TP working with the myMTN apn, with natting. I would like 1 or 2 people who have been unable to use this PM me for instructions to help test. I also need to know if MTN will actively try to block us - Hello MTNBB - if we use it.

I have spoken to a few people at MTN, and they all tell me it cannot be done. I am not sure if they have a polcy against people using vpn (selling R5000 solutions - for example) or if they just do not want to give everyone a private ip.

Hi,

MTN does not try and block people form using VPN solutions over GPRS.

A quick tip when using the Cisco VPN client over Internet or myMTN APN - use TCP to establish the session and not UDP - but make sure your Cisco PIX or Concentrator is configured to terminate the clients using TCP and not only UDP - There default TCP port is 10000.
