Hi All
What is the max connections allowed on Vumareach (Afrihost)
TIA

I use vuma Reach on Afrihost. 4-5 cellphones /PC/TV all all worked fine, albeit a bit slow at times if anyone hogged the line with updates etc.

Thanks, want to connect two family members via their cellphones.

Vuma Reach by default limits the number of devices you can connect to the ONT but you can login with details on the device to increase the number of devices allowed to connect

Thanks for the tip:thumbsup:
Just don't mess with settings that you do not understand. You WILL break your connection and for Vuma to reset and reconfigure can take up to two days.

By default you can connect up to 10 devices to the router but it does not do well with multiple connections. The wifi bandwidth is very limited in my experience with clients.

Yeah 10 devices is more than enough.

Unless you are an Indian and have 1/4 of your extended family living with you cos they are freeloaders...

i want 15 devices and they said i cant have it.So if i got my own fibre router can i do it as there router i cant log into it///.It has a admin account i do not know the password to.

You can. You connect it to LAN1 on the Vuma router and set your router up for DHCP WAN. Set the Wi-Fi details to what you want and connect your devices.

Keep in mind, all devices shares the 20/10 bandwidth so more devices in use = lower speed per device.

The limit on the Vuma router is there for a reason.
