Uhm they are complaining about the vuvuzela noise, which I can hear just as well as them over the tv, and these are the people that will most likely attend the wc and bring money to South Africa.

Aaaaaaah. Good man. Yeah - the only reason they are so popular is because they are made in China (ie: plenty cheap). Plastic bollocks.
If you're there for the music or the singing, then I'd rather suggest you go to a concert instead. The rest of us are there for the soccer and to support our own teams.
What you're suggesting is basically that we stop, or cut back, our support for Bafana so that the other countries can support theirs in a more leisurely fashion? Screw that. Make some noise.

From the way I see it, FIFA won't ban the vuvusela, but SAFA will. There is simply too much pressure being applied. And it is not like South African soccer fans are going to die for the vuvusela either. To all intents and purposes, the vuvusela will be SUSPENDED by SAFA for the duration of the World Cup next year.
People should remember that it was assumed that people from all over the world would find it as something that adds to the UNIQUE experience, but the opposite is happening. People are using some pretty rude words to comment about it. They forget that it was something that the hosts naively thought would be nice for guests.
I am particularly surprised by Xavi Alonso (may he break all his legs in this tournament!) Even if you don't like your host's cooking, you don't go all out and call it rubbish or 'thing.' In all cultures, that is extremely bad manners. I wish that we drown them with vuvuselas this Saturday and then give them a beating on the pitch.
So we will suspend the 'awful noise' for the sake of ungrateful people out there, but we won't be told how to celebrate. We may sing, dance or chant out names like Booooth, but the choice will be ours!

Obviously some people wanted the event to fail by suggesting things wont go smoothly. Now that most of the things are in place besides an odd transport issue they are looking for something else to complain about. Maybe those Europeans should be worried about the host for their next Euro Championships it seems Ukraine is struggling to put together 2 stadiums.

Nope. That is not the case. I am 100% behind SA2010 and have been the whole time. The Vuvuzela must go.

Insults from foreigners are the ones that really bite. And to imagine that the whole thing is about an airhorn! Broadcasters are threatening, sponsors are threatening, fans are threatening to boycott and there is currently an internet mobilization campaign under way: We get the point- we'll accommodate you!
Before the vuvusela, we used to chant players' names. We can go back to that. We also used to sing and dance a lot (as we do now and then), we can go back to doing that. Those people who suggest that we can't sing or are tone-deaf don't know what they are talking about! And it's not because we have learnt from the Brazilians or the English fans or Spanish fans or whoever else. If we learnt, maybe we learnt from Siwelele!
But I really wish that we improve where it really matters the most, on the pitch. Then we can shut snotty people up for good!

No, people who go to the stadiums here and those who bought tickets for this particular event like to do so with their vuvuzelas.
Maybe Fifa and the LOC should sell all tickets to the 'visitors' for 2010. No problems with the vuvuzela cos i dont see any other compromise.
