VUZU not recording on PVR?

Anyone else noticed this?
Since last Sat, anything I have set to record (PVR) on vuzu just ends up as a black screen. The picture and sound is there during live broadcast though.
This also happened some time ago when it was still GO.

Nobody would have noticed, because you have an installation or component issue.

What setup? Pace with twin LNB and multiswitch? If so, live TV uses LNB input 1 at the back of the PVR. Recording uses LNB input 2 and 3. Check the connections between inputs 2 and 3 and the multiswitch. If they are okay and you are sure your dish alignment is good, change your multiswitch.

But all other channels are recording fine. Dish and equipment is about 15 months old - whatever the best dish was available at the time.

It looks like you can only record one polarity

They are on the same transponder frequency as Vuzu, last time I checked. If Vuzu is giving problems, they will be giving problems. My money is on the dish being slightly out of alignment and dodgy multiswitch.

did you not watch poltergiest, just ignore the mesage on screen man, just ignore the mesage.

on a serios note check your signal level that might be low

Also recorded from History channel no problem, so its just VUZU that doesnt record.

A couple weeks ago, Vuzu was recording with no volume - decoder reset fixed it.

Last week it was recording with no picture (black screen) - again a reset fixed it.

I just rescanned and its fixed. Dont know why I didnt do this in the first place.
I would still like to know why it only happens to VUZU?

What can I check?

Yes. Okay. If Vuzu does not record, but History does. The signal is fine and it must be a decoder issue. I've heard about these black screens, but they are very illusive. I have never experienced it myself. Try the reset as mentioned above.
