Hi Guys

Just got one of Dstv handouts at a traffic light. It advertised the compact package and to my surprise it had Vuzu listed as one of its channels.

Does anyone have this channel available on their compact package?

Its not on Compact, dont know why they still handing these out

MC:
We apologise that the information on the flyer was not correct.

the launch or removal of a channel/s to the various bouquets are at the discretion of MultiChoice.

Should there be further updates regarding VUZU , we will keep you posted

regards

If compact included Vuzu, they would lose almost all premium subscribers.

Vuzu is the replacement for Go isn't it? That was a locally compiled channel that nobody watched.

Quite wierd how DSTV mentioned this on on the 7th.

Yet are still to stop distributing the incorrect handout. What happens to all the new subscribers who find themselves with the short end of the stick.

Quite despicable if you ask me.

I knew plenty of people who watched it. It was a youth channel. It was very big in high school.

All of the teen shows like The OC, One Tree Hill, Greek, Gossip Girl etc. brought in a young student viewership.

So, I wouldn't say that 'nobody watched it'.

So why'd they remove it if it was so popular?

They didn't remove Go. They just renamed it to VUZU to fool subscribers into thinking that they're getting a new channel. I personally watched a lot of Go, especially Adult Swim.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Go channel nor with its name they could have shown everything on Go that is now on Vuzu, but something had to give and then it went the same way as all the street and town names that had to be changed.

Vuzu - what a stupid bloody name I fking hate it

They always have to meddle.

Vuzu: "DSTV’s "black version" of the now defunct GO channel" says quite a lot

I agree completely. The first thing that came to mind is Channel O. I can't believe how blatant DStv can be. It's so OBVIOUS that the "white channel" has been replaced with a "Black channel" by renaming it Vuzu, putting shows such as "I want to work for Diddy", putting 99% black people in all of it's promo's for the channel. It's so blatantly racist, and it's bull. DStv is up to crap!
