Hi guys im looking for some help here

I own a VW Polo 1.6 TDI 2013 model It has high mileage as i use it for work and i travel alot.

Cambelt was changed at 105 000 KM im not sure if the waterpump was also replaced but I paid R11 000 for the service so I think it was replaced.

Two weeks ago, I had to service my car again at 180 000 km had to change my cambelt and Vbelt and after two weeks my waterpump gave in.

They havnt quoted me as yet but I just want to find out

1. Whos Fault is this, shouldnt they have advised me.
2. Do i pay for this or do I have a case against them.

With vw

When they change the can belt they normally change the waterpump. Or my mechanic does it. Says they are connected someway.

1. The waterpump's fault.
2. Yes. No.

3. Be grateful you didn't wreck your motor when the water pump stopped.
