Anyone driven either of these ? Would the CC be a better buy than a Jetta (not pricewise, but i.t.o. performance, etc)
Thanks

What's the Tiguan got to do with things? :/
Haven't driven the CC before but I do own a Tiguan and I can honestly say that it is an absolutely amazing car. Everything and more that you need, luxury, safe, reliable and economical. It's awesome to drive (not to big - not to small = just right)
Go testdrive them and then decide, but I honestly could not wish for a better car.
Oh - sorry ... maybe I read the question wrong
Subject it's CC vs Tiguan - but body is CC vs Jetta ...
bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu - I R resident VW peddler... PM me if you need any specific info on any of them.
Personal opinion - disregard the Jetta. It's being replaced next year to bring it in line with the new Golf6. The CC is fantastic - it's an incredible amount of car for the money and frankly I think VW did the Merc CLS-look better than what Mercedes themselves managed. My pick would however be the Tiguan - as has been mentioned it offers versatility that the CC can't match. It is a very nice drive & really does have more features than what you'd ever need.
EDITH to add:
The most important factor is that you get the car you want to drive & be seen driving. The CC and Tiguan can't be directly compared - are you looking for a luxo-barge to waft along in. or a surprisingly capable part-time off-roader for those trips into the sticks?
As enigma said, however, you cannot directly compare these two cars. They are both great for entirely different reasons. It all depends what you are looking for.
drove the tiguan 1.4 TSI at launch ... lovely car, lots of power ... the CC is pretty IMO, but they different vehicles ... so what do you want from a vehicle?
It is for my better half, who reguarly drives long distances and on very bad roads ... potholes, etc.
I guess that would probably mean that the Tiguan would be a slightly better choice.
