This is a post to see what people think or would be willing to pay for my car

Details as follows

Last production line of the citi golf -Citi rox 1.4i
Colour:Silver
Kms on clock:41 000 km
Age of vehicl:Purchased February/March of 2008 - 4 years old going on 5

General life of car and previous history, other than the obvious that none of us can get away from those parking lot irritations a scratch here and there.

Interior, immaculate strict no eating drinking or smoking in my car from day 1 till now and forever.

Sports pedals, steering wheel and bucket seats(stock standard from manufacturers) no alternative customizations or tuning have been done

What would my car be worth if I sell it?
What would be bare minimum it is worth?

Would greatly appreciate the feedback, dont want to be ripped off

Phone your insurance for a Trade/Retail number. Unlike a dealer, they have little reason to bend the figures.

Not a bad idea.Could probably look on the insurance contract for general market value as I took out a new insurance policy about 2 months ago.

I do however want to see what the critical yet fair public have to say or would be willing to buy it at.

i paid 50k from VW for a 07 1.4i citi storm ...only extras is radio/mp3 and C/L

with that mileage and the prices these days ..you should take nothing less than 60k

check on gumtree and stuff for prices cause the golfs are wanted cars still

R50k would be a good price.

My mother bought her 2005 Ford Fiesta 1.4l for R54k, so R50k for a 2008 Golf seems about right.
