VW EOS

VW sucks donkey balls, if you ever buy one or thinking of buying one.... you deserve the crap that stupid arse excused of a vehicle gives you ;)
What I really wanted to say! :p
But Bwana is on my case so I'll just quote you and do the +1 thing :D

House paid off, on pension, no other debt. Car seen is 2l model, not turbo. Maybe I'm undergoing midlife crisis and have never owned a convertible. With 16000km on clock and 2 years old car still has three years of maint plan available. Perhaps if I dye my remaining few strands of hair pink could go with this "womens car" :):)

Lol!!!:D Bit confused are we?

We're talking about "hairdresser cars" in this thread. Hence the statement about the MX5.

Its better looking than the MX5 subjective you might say, but really it is much nicer.
Its got a GTi engine, a folding hard top, an interior matched by none in its field.
German quality inside and out.

Cant see what the problem is...
Check it out!:)

Still going on about VW's "German quality". *sigh* Not one for facts, are you?

RK275 is horribly overprice for this car if compared to what VW themselves is willing to pay YOU if you trade in this same vehicle.

It is essentially a Passat with a folding roof. I had one (2007 2.0FSi). It is a piece of crap. Period. VW is no longer synonymous with quality, and have not been for a few years now. Yes, you get a maintenance plan, but be warned that you are going to need it.

Now thats good advice from some one who has been there done that. Would you care to share your experinces. A new 2L EOS is 333K. Thanks

Phone JSN Motors, they are selling demo model BMWs, all below (I think) 14 000km ... You can get a 323i 2008 model for around R270k. Oh, and they finance for Prime - 5%

Get demo or 2nd hand Mazda MX-5 for much much cheaper ;)
Get the roadster with metal folding roof, its the benchmark in this catagory

Great car but if you want to not look like a copy cat perhaps go with an Astra convertable. Or even better, get the real thing - SLK.

hahahahahahah i hope you mean the 55 amg the rest of them are useless (SL-ghey) i know trollys that are faster:D

OK Checked MX5 hard top new is same price as EOS, so whats better?
The MX5 is legend!!!
Just type MX5 and legend in google most pages start with... "The mazda mx5 is the stuff of legends!" ;)
O it also has the lightest most simplistic roof design ever so the roof is fast and reliable
