VW Golf GTD Variant

I am not sure about this. I like the engine but making a station-wagon sporty is about as appealing to me as a bakkie with 20" rims.

The Volvo V40 on the other hand..

To me sporty SW's can look really nice. I would go for this, but we don't get the station wagon or the GTD here.

Have you looked at the boot space in a V40. Really small. Deal breaker for me. Great car otherwise.

The boot is shockingly small for a SW, smaller than that of a normal hatch. But then again the V50 was the last SW from Volvo in that class.

I give you the Audi RS6 Avant.

The same reason you by a station wagon WRX. You have a family and still have a beating heart.

I like it, but then I adore the silliness of station wagons going faster than what they should be able to.

My pops had an A4 station wagon, that thing was amazingly practical and pretty damn quick at the same time.
