VW Jetta 2005 car 1.6 automatic

Good day

I am planing to buy a car that is a VW Jetta 1.6 (It is second hand) and the clock value is 60 thousand Km the price is going for around 90 thousand..

I just want to know whether this car is worth that money if the car was bought around 2005, and the precautions that I need to be aware of..

This car is automatic..

Ooooor, changing gears keeps you distracted. Maybe having an automatic would make it possible to keep ALL you attention on the road.

The 1.6 Jetta, esp auto box, is HUGELY underpowered. Make sure to test drive first

Get the 2.0.
We had a 1.6 Jetta in 2001, solid car, very well put together but the gearbox with the 1.6 engine and the car that weighs almost 2 tons, dosnt go well.
Decent highway car though.

Nothing beats an auto box in rush hour traffic, I've seen the light and never going back to a stick shift for my daily commute.

A fair price but not a bargain... TAK see if you can get the guy to lower it

by the way I checked the currency exchange... if you're paying in YOUKNOWWHAT then you're going to pay more than R90 000

Reed, I know.. but you know it's almost like a bet.. like we think the exchange rates will go up or it might even go down.. don't know.. but I know.. everyone would want the price to go down..

We are trying, but the guy doesn't want to drop it down..
