Hey guys

After changing my control arm bushes on my JETTA 1.8T R with the ones from Goldwagen,my car rides very bad.I have now got dash rattles and the car rides very hard especially on these kuk roads.

Anyone else has this problem?

Had the same problem on my Polo TDI. The control arm bushes from Goldwagen were terrible and only lasted 3 months. My mechanic told me to replace with the original ones and they seem to be lasting and have a much better drive.

i take it its the front ones
replace them with the oem TT bushes, ill look for a part no

Whilst we are talking about VW, I had my Jetta 4 1.9TDI chipped about a year ago and now my engine ceased, anyone knows if the chip could've caused this?

what chip/remap did u use?
is it your turbo/motor/ what exactly ceased?

I did the chip by SAC, not sure exactly what chip, my motor ceased.

Is not the wheel balancing that is out now?

Clever.
Depending on the bushes, if they the same as what you had and your previous bushes were broken it might be your alignment.
Otherwise try the TT bushes but theirs nothing wrong with the standard ones.
Why did you buy them from Goldwagen? The agents have them for R120 each...
